Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

The new Kangaroo version also includes a new way of using the engine. Instead of the usual 'live' timer/reset combination where you see the animated process as it happens, this solves internally until a specified energy threshold is met and outputs only the final result.
It's not live, but not really dead either, hence: 'Zombie Kangaroo'
Because all the physics looping is kept internal, the component can behave like a regular Grasshopper component, and is much easier to use together with things like Galapagos.
Here is shown a simple example where Galapagos adjusts the weight of a hanging mesh so it is at a certain height after reaching equilibrium

@Daniel - yes some new examples to follow shortly

@Christian - Thanks for reminding me - I did update MeshMachine, but forgot to include it in this build. Time for a new release!

So the zombie kangaroo is ready. This is great news! Did you make changes to the mesh machine? I'm thinking of the local variation of the edge length?

Daniel, very good about the zombie, usually it's annoying to use the timer. There will be new examples? :)
