You answered some of this down stream.. sorry for that.
I have cut this material on a router but, not a knife... looks like laser worked well.
I couldn't tell if it was kiss cut or not for the folds.

Material thickness was 4mm. After folding the flanges and joining to an adjacent panel, this made the joints have a thickness of 16mm. The orientation of the flutes were aligned with the primary direction of the forces going down the shell.
It was cut on a laser cutter (actually 3 lasers each with beds measuring 1.2mx1.2m). Ideally, we would have cut it with a large format knife cutter with an attached crease wheel for the folds. However, arranging that in the length of this project (7 weeks) from halfway around the world was too difficult. Next time...
