Thanks! The whole bench is constructed in grasshopper. I created a datumline to determine the top of the base cladding. I intersected the top portion of the bench at a specific interval. This line is then also the spine that the LED void hangs on. I create a curved box that is used to cut a chunk out of the top piece. Rendered in VRay.

how did you make that light line? and what sort of a rendering plugin this is? Vray for Rhino?
