I think we actually agree on that the underside looks much better. The only difference is that I always think about it as viewd from below and as a pavilion while you - of course - do not have that image in mind.
I didnt communicate that properly since I'm only using this to document some of my work and progress.
So, fellow architects: always communicate your thoughts properly! ;)

I was trying to think why it looked upside down the other way round, and other than the rational; it would gather leaves and water. The panels all look a lot cleaner and defined, creates a better pattern/rhythm.
