like i tried to explain in my older comment. you got an area to develop. there are certain parameters, like streets, water, existing buildings, topography, sun... then you try to set up rules how the new buildings react to this parameters. building height, density...
what do you think about this?
hello this looks very interessting to me!!! maybe there is a way to use it for urban development (the video arraying trees) i could imagine that you could arrange houses by certain rules...
do you share your definiton with me? i would like to try something out!
Nothing more to see on video! That's just it, a little robot finding its way...
Any ideas for a better use of this?
Please post a video ...
Thanks! Actually it was a lot easier than I thought.
I wanted to do this for a long time now, although I'm still not sure how it can be useful in a design process. I call here for ideas!
I've been eading through David Rutten's thesis about computational urbanism and I feel it may be interesting in that field but I always skipped this course at school :)) so I have theory to hold onto...
Of course in a near future, architects will have to provide software along with their project for environmental control etc
Wonderful !!
