You were asking how I made it. Basically netlogo 3d. It is a logo language which is related to lisp.

But you don't necessarily need logo to make it. It is just a grid of points connected with the nearest neighbor command in grasshopper. Logo helps me select the grid cells through its patch function.

You too can play with netlogo using their premade programs and using the "write xcor ycor" command, sendiing the coordinates to excel, and then into grasshopper to play with as you will.
