It is the same math formula that Vicente pointed out. My t input list is {1, 5, 6, 5, 0.01}.

My guess is he did something like this:

Set the t input as list. You can find the math forumulas to achieve these things all around the web. It requires looping so you need to use a scripting component or hoopsnake. The above definition will generate this:
