No, I  didn't do it with GH. I'm looking into doing it with GH, but now I'm reformatting my computer. And I'm skeptical that I'll be able to do it with GH...

But if I'm not mistaken I think it was just the lower end of the Mandelbulb which you can find in Vicente Soler's page.
