Thanks and yes, it's going to be a table lamp.  I also work in stain glass and will make a simple stained glass box as an insert.  There is also a cut wood box that acts as a base that houses the lamp parts.  Once glued and sanded, I'll probably stain it chocolate brown and use a white glass.  I'll post some photos of the finished product.
