Graz Year 2070

Citizens of Graz, were always recognized as clever and practical. So they decided, in year 2010 to rebuild city Graz, in order to protect them from uncertain future. They where afraid from a problems like Overpopulation, Lacking of Water, Energy, Peaking of Oil, Air pollution, Global Warming....
They decided to react.

First was to rebuild old city walls, for increasing living space and better protection from future attacks.
After that, hard working citizens, started to build inside of walls new structures, called Styria Towers for growing food and water purification, following ideas of Dickson Despommier and Vertical Farming.

They also cover Old City area in Glas, to control Microclima, following advices of Great Buckminster F.

Like builder of Kunsthaus, Sir Peter Cook, once sad it : " Graz is not a boring place"!
