Hi L]G,

It will be easier to help you with your definition if you post it.(Am busy with thesis, and other might help you as well if I dont answer directly)

As you might know there are different ways how to approach a definition. The one below did work for my end goal. but it might not work for yours.

Hi Homer, i tried the definition on my own and have a few doubts. firstly, i get the hole only by intersection, not directly by 'join' and 'planar'.

secondly, i have no idea how to get from here to the modulation on a surface. i tried to guess what it is on your photo and work from there bu failed :),
