i have been trying to do the same. we need to divide the offset curves, and close off a boundary to get a surface at the vertexes, similar to the way it is actually made. am i right?

i couldnt replicate the step where you created the chamfer vertexes. also the way you offset and rebuild the surface seems different. what is that?

I tried to replicate the script (as an exercise for developables) based on your video: Convex polygons to developable surfaces. I could not make it because I could not identify several Grasshopper components. Is the script available to use?
