algorithmic modeling for Rhino
The first 7 types of dimension Grasshopper will offer. Although they are very similar to Rhino dimensions, they have been designed to be easily creatable using standard Grasshopper tools. Rhino dimensions require a lot of intelligent mouse-picks to define exactly how a dimension object looks, to replicate this in GH is always very cumbersome.

Is there a component that specifies the offset of the angular dimension from the corner?
I am facing the problem where the dimensions are way too off.
Thank you in advance for your time and kind assistance.
A colour option would be great, thanks
+1
Hi David,
It's possible to add a format for a representating item.
For example:
{0;0;0}[A1]
{0;0;0}[A2]
{0;0;0}[A3]
{0;0;0}[B1]
Grasshopper Dimensions:
Rhinoceors Dimensions (bake):
It would be interesting to add a label to the size that can represent certain parameter in the definition.
For example, grasshopper's dimension Label representating a name slider.
That way we can find the dimensions associated with an easier setting.
would be nice to have the possibility with the use of a colour swatch to do colour changings...maybe for the next update
@Horst Becker, not at the moment. The only way you would be able to do this is to change all of the Document Preview Settings
is there a way to change the dimensions colour?
Its beautiful
I've got this so far, it's still a bit hard to read.
Perhaps a little diamond marker on the zero line would make it more obvious. The distances can be specified either along the line or in 3D. By default it's along the line. If the line is parallel to the world X axis, then you get horizontal dimensions, but this way at least is pretty flexible.
A symbol that would mark the 0 points would be helpful. Something that could mark if measuring x, or y, or z, or custom axis as well.
The distances would remain positive regardless of direction.
I usually only deal with the ordinate dims on the x and y axis. But I can imagine some users with intense the intense fabrication of crazy patterns would need to measure from an outside/inside point along an edge of cut/fold/curve.
