With the growing populations of big city's there will continue to be a shortage of traditional burial grounds. More and more today we are seeing cemetery's being pushed out of the city where we tend to forget they exist and limit the number of times we visit loved ones. The idea of this project was to bring the cemetery back into the city, and one way to make this possible was to make a vertical cemetery. One example you can look at is Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica is Santos Brazil.

Hi, it looks really interresting but i m not sure why you would do a vertical cemetery like that...lack of space?
