algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Drawings made with a pen by a small CNC machine (Zmorph personal fabricator). I switched the 3d printing toolhead with a custom made pen handle. The drawings are made from the data pulled from the openstreet maps (Elk plugin). They visualize a few districts from the city of Warsaw. Curves are projected on a sphere for pure esthetic reason.

Thanks Matt! Yes, I already tried a calligraphy pen. One with a ink container on the other end possible to refill.  The only problem with it is that it get's dry quite quickly and stops to paint. I've also tried a watercolor brush also connected to the paint&water container. Right now I'm developing my own system of paint mixing, I'll try to share something in the future.

Nice Idea.. I wonder what would happen if you put a Calligraphy Pen in, though you may then have to edit the code as the nib could not go backwards and would have to be at an angle, though maybe you could add a way to rotate the pen to solve the nib direction issue. Another more simple idea maybe to add a paint brush with a thick ink/paint so when you need to add more it does not drip over the work done.
