there are 3 types of connectors for a geodesic. I generate them from the lines that meet at each node.

Finally manged a boolean split to remove the slot in the corner pieces between the struts. Also created a hole for an M6 cap screw with a nut recess on the back and then split the corner piece in half so it would actually be possible to assemble :)
