algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Comment
VERY GOOD
Hi Toby,
I did a couple of things, not sure if solves the solution:
- Firstly I noticed the curves you are using have so many anchor points. This causes problems unnecessarily in GH loft. So I rebuilt them in Rhino
- Also I usually test the curves for planarity
- I tried a couple of things, but it seemed to me that lofted closed surface are causing a problem. So I did something silly and split the closed curves into 2 and it worked...
regards,
Omar
Great script Omar, I'm trying to incorporate internal roads (ie ones which aren't passing outside of the plot boundary) without much luck. Is this something you've tried? I've attached my script with the problem geometry below, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Toby
thank you so much! this helps a lot, i will modify the function a little bit, i sent you the final result!
but it needs at least a few days.
thanks again :)
Here you go, couldn't find the old version, but this new one is almost the same, with the added advantage of working with any shaped plot... try it out and tell me.
regards,
Omar
thank you!
I can't find that old code, but I remember it was very simple. I will try to recreate it and send to you
That's awesome! how dose it work? that is exactly what i'm searching for! dose anybody know how to do that? or can i've the script too? Thank you really much!
can I have the scrip or how did you creat that all in scrip or with Rhino line and Grasshopper? this is soooo cool.
Very nice!
