Put it to use the product.cool!
Hans,
hello, say sorry for the delay, I have been really busy, just wanted you to know I have not for gotten you. I'll be in touch. I look forward to running your work.
need to figure out how to make it hang?
thanks, Wade
Hans,
funny you say 3mm I thought about using but for now we use 6.4mm.
I'll check back on Wednesday.
TY, Wade
The point of nesting properly with a sofware is that you can prioritize use of material and machining time wich make sense for cheap materials or expensive machines, at the end of the day your objetive should be give same quality at the lowest price, i dont now a free software for nesting....
hey wade, then it makes sense i send you the up to date parts (chaise v2). there i work with a new cardboard thickness (6.3mm) - but you could scale all parts in relation of 6.3:6.4 then it should be fine. will post link with rh4 files on wednesday - really looking forward to a mdf prototype!
what do think of using even thinner mdf (i.e. 3mm) - i think it could give it more elegance, less material and even a tiny bit less production efforts :-)
thx hans
Hello Hans,
looks like I can't open the file I have version 4 software :(.
can you adjust the material thickness to 6.4mm as well? (imperial standards) MDF
Thanks, Wade
hey wade, great idea! here you will find the cutting files for this prototype. i am actually still working on the design but for testing production speed etc. these files should be good!

please let me know when you start assembling - the numbering is a bit shifted - could have easily fixed it but didn t do it so far ;-)
Hans
Nice Work
How many parts?
I'm thinking out loud but, I believe less than one hour for my machine easy!.
I could try if your willing? parts are what I do.
way nice work as well sorry for not saying that first.
Wade
i am sure with a optimized machine and nesting software it is possible to drop production time a lot... however idea and suggestion are always welcome!
