PQ meshes obtained from principal direction curves. No planarizing was applied to obtained the quads, just surface from 4 points. There is some curvature on some quads, but I'm pretty sure that's arises from how the intersections of the CDF's (conjugate direction field) were obtained. 

Incredibly slow to calculate. Second model took about 15 minutes. 

The definition is not automatic; there some tweaking to be done, and the final result has some voids.
