Firstly for CA Algorithm you have to start reading "New Kind of Science" available on Wolfram Website www.wolframscience.com/ - simply you can use file"Mantis 0.2 CA _ game of life_2D & 3D.ghx" in the upper picture i assigned a hexagonal grid points to the CA algorithm and watched the evolution of one/two three cells (1/2/3points) and changed the rule slider until reached a symmetrical growth then assigned the final result of grown points to the Voronoi 3d algorithm file----i will record some videos of Mantis files to show all of my vision of using this tool within the next days

i'm recently started working with your Mantis tool of the latest version and found so interesting and helpful with the tools, I happen to see this post and tried to download the file of yours which build the sturcture of the above pic, but i only see how it works out voronoi cell, not a process from the scratch of CA alogrithm to 3d voronoi expressing the whole concept, is it possible to have more reference from you concerning this topic? thanks so much!
no i used Mantis http://zaghloul4d.blogspot.com/2010/12/mantis-v02.html for CA then i made a simple voronoi 3d definition "but it can't made over a 50 point on my laptop, the computer crashed", here you can download my file

i will try to add a 3d voronoi in the next release of Mantis
nice... could you explain the logic... i tried converting in 3d ... not my piece a cake
