A fundamental question of planning is, how to organise a surface, a neighbourhood, a building, a flat, a kitchen. Architecture is an arrangement of circulation and floor space.

Starting with the simple arrangement of floor space of the house “DOM-INO”, an auto generative process (using the SpideWeb plugin and Grasshoppers Galapagos) explores the possibilities of arranging the circulation, so that the average turns needed to get to a point in the house is a minimum. This process is repeated, increasing floor space, changing the number of stairs, changing the amount of storeys.
