Hi Brian,
absolutely not! ;)
It is a new approach for designing form generators with Grasshopper.
GENERATOR 1.0 and 2.0 are two different tools but they share the same concept.
The first is for a basic use of GH (manual configurators: interactive visualization), while the second is for an advanced use of GH (automatic configurators: iterative exploration).
