try to set the naked edges to fixed (right click to s input) 

does that solve it?

edit i just saw that weird edges. something is wrong indeed

Set u and v of mesh uv to 1. add a weaverbird weld component between mesh uv and catmall clark.

I would like to debug this error and find its source. I think it has to do with the position of points, but I cannot exactly tell right now from the screenshot.
