algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
I just find this grate plug-in "WASP". I started using it but I need some help.
1. The geometry is one level, I want to build something similar to this, I want to have more than one level.
2. Sometimes the result has less "Number of Parts" than what I choose because in the end result I get some of the items as an invalid mesh. For example here I wanted 10 parts but I get only 8 and the rest are invalid.
3. How can connect the results to Octopus and Colibri so it iterate automatically? I want to do optimization through ladybug tools.
Thank you,

Hi,
Some answers:
1 / 2 - The problem is that some of the planes you created (the one on top and on bottom) are not valid (you can see it in the PLN_OUT output of the Connection component). This because you tried to align the plane to a line perpendicular to it, and hence created an invalid plane.See the attached file. By using an edge of the face as Connection direction, you can ensure that the plane created is valid. Then it is a matter of writing all the required rules (I wrote some) and the aggregation works.
3 - Would be interesting, but at the moment it is kind of tricky to recreate the same aggregation twice, as there are some random choices made during the process, and the seeds of these randoms are not accessible outside of Wasp. I think I will get to work on something similar in the coming weeks, will keep you posted. Meanwhile, if you have any idea of particular requirements to achieve that, please do let me know, and I can try to integrate it in a future version.
