Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am new to using Volvox in grasshopper. I am trying to replicate the Point Set Deviation command found in Rhino. Would anyone be able to guide me on a procedure for this? I found an example of it used in this article: http://papers.cumincad.org/data/works/att/ecaade2016_171.pdf but am having a hard time trying to develop the correct process in grasshopper. I'm not sure if the "Mesh Compare" command in UserData is used for this or not...

Any tips or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Figured it out, quite easy in hindsight! Mesh Compare was the starting point. My stumbling block was figuring out the 'keys' which seems to just be an arbitrary tag for storing data. I needed to assign colours to deviations and use Preview Data (from Volvox) for visualization.

Hii Christopher, What kind of "Keys" (I mean name for keys)did you use for "Mesh Compare" node? Could you please elaborate a bit.
