cull cloud deletes user keys?

Not sure if this is a limitation or a bug..
Added a bunch of user keys to a cloud,
culled it according to one of the keys,
resulting cloud only has that one key, the rest have disappeared?..

(also, getting HSL values takes about 6 seconds, is there a faster way to do it from within Volvox?)
