Conjugate curve network / Conjugate direction fields 5 Replies

Hello, lately I have been investigating on conjugate curve networks and I was surprised to find so little information on it in this forum. The little bit I found was regarding…Continue

Dynamic field of points 4 Replies

Hi all, I've been doing a uni project involving points and fields of influence. Basically what I've been trying to achieve is a series of points (A) that have a field of influence on a series of…Continue

Object Collision

Hey Daniel:I am really enjoying SPM so far. I must admit that I am still in the exploratory/getting to know stage of the process. What interested me is your object collision script that you answered…Continue

Liquids/Fluids/Reaction-Diffusion 2 Replies

Hello community,I'm looking for references to simulate fluid systems ins Grasshopper. More precisely I want to simulate the behavior of a substance (real or pseudo-physical) which collides with…Continue

Vortex_acceleration.ghx

same defintion as before, but with interesting acceleration...again, this is not a "real" simulation - just vector field integration...

Very good. I like the new interpolation and what you have planned with boundaries etc. Keep it up

Fun with interpolated vector fields...

interpolation is great ! now it is a really helpful tool.

New release! Download available at the main link.

And a quick demo of the new interpolation setting:

Thanks for joining the group everyone! Here's what Chris and I are working on right now:

  • Adding a seperate "Settings" component. This will allow you to add surface constraints (for Curvature lines), Line Continuation (so you can get continuous lines across singular regions), and various stopping conditions (Brep as boundary, winding number, etc..)
  • Tensor field Integration. This will also be covered in the Settings component, but the upshot will be the ability to integrate orthogonal frames...
  • Vector Field Creation. This will allow simple construction of sinks and sources of various types (magnetism, gravity, black hole, etc..). I know some of this has been done before, but it fits nicely in this setting.

So, we'll hopefully be posting a new release soon.
