Hello, lately I have been investigating on conjugate curve networks and I was surprised to find so little information on it in this forum. The little bit I found was regarding…Continue

Hi all, I've been doing a uni project involving points and fields of influence. Basically what I've been trying to achieve is a series of points (A) that have a field of influence on a series of…Continue

Hey Daniel:I am really enjoying SPM so far. I must admit that I am still in the exploratory/getting to know stage of the process. What interested me is your object collision script that you answered…Continue

Hello community,I'm looking for references to simulate fluid systems ins Grasshopper. More precisely I want to simulate the behavior of a substance (real or pseudo-physical) which collides with…Continue

So along with the new release, I've uploaded some new example files. Included are two examples of the interpolation components.
Just a quick note to say that we're working on the bug fixes.. So far the surface flow thing has been dealt with, and we're just looking at the collision.
A release will hopefully be up by the end of the week.
Hi Alvaro,
I'll check it out...
I downloaded and I'm trying to run the "surface flow" example, but I'm concerned the option "surface flow" itself is not running properly, as the particles are just falling through, ignoring the surfaces references in the 3dm they should be flowing along. When I substitute the "surface flow" component with "surface bounce" it will work.
The version I installed and unblocked is the one here:
http://www.food4rhino.com/project/spm for november the 4th, but as I read here (and here: http://architectureincombination.wordpress.com/2011/11/25/spm-vc-sm... ), I'm concerned there should be a newer version for november 20 somethingth.
Daniel,
I'm having the same problem as Kwanphil with the new version.
matt
Kwanphil,
We just fixed that bug - try the new version on the website.
Daniel,
I downloaded example file but it seems "USER VECTOR FIELD" is not working. Can you have a look at them if there is any bug? What I am trying to do is to create 2D vector field with object recognition. Would it be possible to do with spm?
Daniel,
Great, it seems it's working now, thanks BTW is there any tutorial for your plug-in or i should figure it out by myself with the example files? . . .
thanks again,
best,
hamia,
Try downloading the .gha file again. Turns out we had some debug info in the code that was release by mistake. This is fixed now.
Daniel;
yes, i think so i download it last week from the website. . .
