problem

Hi I am developing thy project using spm.

I have a map/field divided with points, and an attraction multiplyer for each point. (food harvest)

And i have some floationg points - "animals". Each animal need totravel and find the best position on the field depending on the max food in it`s field of view (means that if it moves anywhay the overal food score in it`s radius will reduce.

Second level will be disatraction of all animals.

But for now I stoped with spm not working with so many points. What can I do with this.

Hi Philipp,

Here's a potential fix for your project - I'm not sure if it is exactly what you're looking for, but it at least gets the "animals" moving around the weighted food points. In the attached .ghx file I've deleted the points of the def. that don't contribute to the SPM movement for clarity....Hope it helps!

two questions - 1) - is there a way to stop those animals? My idea is that they`l fin optimal position and stop moving..... (and do not die)

2) is there a way animals can change gravity field for other animals? I mean thet in some area animals can occupy field making zero gravity field for other animals in this zone,

Looks like i need to develop my own code for this...(

And I updated Grasshopper and everything dont move now on this def...
