Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've loaded the dll into PUPPICAD and I'd like to make it work with WPF / Helix3D structures.

Is it possible to use Plankton classes without Grasshopper, if I write a conversion tool from a more generic mesh structure consisting of points / triangle indices?

Also, does Plankton on its own add any value? This is my first time loading the library and I am not familiar with the subject of half-edge data structures.

Sure, just reference Plankton.dll and not Plankton.gha (all the rhino/grasshopper related stuff is in the GHA). It's just an implementation of a data-structure which is optimised for querying neighbouring mesh elements in manifold meshes. You'll have to decide if that's useful to you :)

Thanks, are there any lightweight mesh generation .NET DLL libraries you would recommend?

For instance, I am interested in the ability to generate a surface bounded by curves, etc.
