Help.

If you need help using a component, or you need advice on how to do something about jewelry in Grasshopper, you can post a discussion in this group. Tutorials are coming.

Bugs.

These components may contain small bugs, are usually easy to detect the cause and fix them. Please, if you find any, notify me with the ghfile to dga_3@hotmail.com.
If you need the fixed component, I can send it if you ask me. Otherwise, the correction will be added in the next release.

Wishes.

If you think would be useful to change something of a component, you can notify me via email or post a discussion, for example title "Component prongs should have fewer inputs". Consider whether you need to open a discussion or better send me an email.

New components.

If you have an idea for a new component, you can post a discussion in this group. It may be just a wish or be accompanied by a proposed definition. If you do not want to publish the content of the definition, have a private discussion with me via email.

To propose new components, we should follow rules. At the beginning of the title of the discussion, you should put "NCP -" (New Component Peacock)

Developers.

If you want to participate in the development of Peacock, must share with me via email three new useful components. I reserve the option to choose collaborator. These components will be owned and have their name while 50% of the original script is not modified.
Being developer supposed to know the password of all components. Personally, I would rather share the components as open, but I need to custody my work for now.

I have just started playing with the plug-in. Seem to have difficulties with the 'size'-function. What is the actual reference point for the ring-size? It does nit seem to match neither mm measurements nor American ring-sizes...please help

Thanks a lot

Sandra

I just started playing with Peacock. I do production jewellery, mostly 925 silver and I use a lot of Swarovski crystals in enamel. I have tried to use your pave and twice it crashed. What I am wanting is to fill a predetermined area with crystals of specific sizes. Also looking at Kangaroo for circle packing.

Best way to use pave. I have only played with your sample file. Thanks

Hi @Daniel Martinez.

Sorry for the password protected. You can redo the gem with Gems component, which has parameter to flip the stones as you wish.

@Daniel González Abalde can you flip stone while using the pave definition? I try to open the cluster to see if I could gain access to the gem component which assuming is there in some form, but is password protected :(

I'm working with surfaces that transition from concave to convex and this will allow me to use the definition on them.

Hi Ethan,
update your version of Grasshopper (now is 0.9.0076), will see that the Cleen Tree component has changed.
