algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi guys! I'm going crazy with these tetrahedrons! Grashopper is awesome! :) but i have some problems:
1. I can do a tetrahedron, also a number of tetrahedra in the xy plane, but when I try to repeat on the z axis I can not, here's the problem, because the movement is not only on the z axis, I can't do a serie with this vector. I tried to do it by differents columns or rows but its impossible for me.
2. Another problem. How I can fill a surface like this with tetrahedrons? What about change the size of this tetrahedrons? Is it possible like a fractal? :S
i'm still working...
Thank you!

Dear Cesar,
good and complicated stuff you are in! First of all, next time, post the GH file to be able to check!
I can see from the screenshot you are relying too much on creating the surface geometry of a tetrahedron, and then moving it all around. Remember what we talked, that will be too expensive. Try focusing the process like this:
1.- Create a 'module' (group of components) that generates a tetrahedron (just the lines) around a single point with dimensional parameters
2.- Create a different module that creates a cloud of points in space according to that stacking you have designed. If you connect 1. to 2., you would generate a lot of tetrahedrons on top of this cloud.
3.- Now create a module that takes a surface and a cloud of points, and keeps only the points contained inside that volume (check this post: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/parametriccamp/forum/topics/how-...). Now connect 1.-3.-2., and you will get your tetrahedrons contained in the surface cloud.
Keep going!
Thank you very much! in a couple of hours i'll show my progress!
Here`s the file.
