about caculation speed problem and bluescreen crash

hi, I get problem about caculation speed when I learning from your vemo case,

even I set up 100 ray, it will take 7 minutes to get the results .

and an another issue is sometimes it crash and go bluescreen.

I have no idea how to do

Hi Jiaxing,

I don't know why you may be having these troubles. For the speed issue, I would check the Pachyderm properties to see that it is indeed set up use multithreading. If not, it would definitely take longer.

Regarding blue screens - The deepest my code goes is the .net framework, so the deep code that might cause blue screens is not mine.

This is the first time in a decade I have been told Pachyderm causes blue screens, so I'm inclined to think that it has something to do with your machine. The algorithms in Pachyderm will attempt to leverage your entire machine, excepting the graphics card, so it may just be falling on a problem with your hardware. I would do what the blue screen says and check for a bios update. If that doesn't work, try contacting the manufacturer.
