algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
as far as I understand, you are saying that:
- Galapagos can orient one object to have the smallest bounding box, therefore asking if
- octopus can orient multiple objects because it is multi objective?
For the Gene Pools: octopus just changes the values which are there. If you graft them, it does not care.
For the fitness value - numbers: octopus flattens every data structure which it is connected to with the objective plug. So no, in a way it does not support data trees.
Anyway, there is little point in doing this optimization at once, as the three problems do not depend on each other. You could set up a successive optimization of the three object orientations with octopus Explicit.
Hope I get your request right and it helps,
Best
Robert
thank you very much for your reply:
But there are some questions, I hope you opinion, ask some very elementary questions.
Since English is not good, we can only use google translate to help PDF document translation.
I know the octopus is very powerful, I'm trying to set some parameters in combination, to better understand its operation mode.
Like galapagos it is very easy to set the maximum to optimize the maximum.
But a lot of octopus parameter settings to help better understand how it's set up operation it?
