generate population

hi everyone,

I want to use octopus.e for one objective optimization and now have a problem with understanding how generating the first population.

in the example that release with octopus.e the first population is the point that optimises with the cluster to reach cost function. (pic 1)

my optimization has a number of number slider that changes the energy and daylight performance (pic 2). I have a misunderstanding that now how can generate the first population that in every generation change the number slider, as Galapagos or octopus do. 

shortly how I can have my own population for my costume cost function?
