Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I feel I may have missed something when it comes to animating anything out of Grasshopper.  I took a look at the Grasshopper listener definition provided in class.  It's not clear to me how to take this recorded data and make an animation.

Thanks in advance,

Miles

The quickest way to do it would be record the screen after setting of the listener to display relevant info, like in Ryan's demo.  The stations on the instructor's side of the classroom have Camstudio installed, if not all the stations by now.  Regular GH and the Human plugin have custom display settings for the geometry to get more control over your output.

It sounds like you may not have done an animation in Grasshopper before?  If so, I've got a short tutorial video demonstrating the creation of a basic GIF using Grasshopper and Photoshop that can get you started.  https://rtstangl.wordpress.com/2016/04/09/animation-tutorial-1/

Thanks for that video link Ryan.  That helped a lot!
