Curve offset

Hey All! 

I am trying to offset a 3 dimensional curve within a rectangular box. I tried using a VB script component which Rajaa has created for a previous discussion with a student but it does not seem to work out for my curve. The output does not seem to contain any geometry. Does anyone know why it is not working, or if there is a different way of offsetting the curve?
