Strange results from solar fan

We are getting some weird results out of a solar fan calculation: The solar fan should connect with all the sun vectors - seen in the Rhino Screenshot below but it only connected with 4.

This is happening because the boolean union operation on line of the 236 fails to return all 7 curves passed in and instead it only returns 4.

I am wondering should we re-write this component so it will return everything even if the boolean union doesnt work? Is the boolean union really necessary?
