Hi Jasonroc,

My best guess is that and old version of Honeybee is executed in your definition. That's my bad not to update the example files for the new release which I hope to get fixed tomorrow.

If you drop Honeybee_Honeybee component from Honeybee tab to canvas and try again the problem should be solved. Is Honeybee itself flying fine on your system? (e.g. what is the output of Honeybee_Honeybee component on your system?). You should see something like this:

In case it didn't solve the problem, upload your file here and I will give it a try.

thank you for your replying.the problem was solved,you are right~but,here is another problem with my ladybug. i do not know the reason.

read me says: keyerror..... etc. and the final result is just like this:

Set the UseOldRes in the GenCumulativeSkyMtx component to False and then to true again (if you want to use the previous calculated values).

Your file works fine here.

I'm actually having the same problem. On my home computer it works as it should, but at work the GenCumulativeSkyMtx component doesn't seem to do what it is supposed to. The *.mtx files it generates are 0kb. I've tried regenning the files several times, and changed the workingDir_ as well, but it still makes empty files. I assume it is something to do with how my work computer is set up, but I cannot make sense of how to fix it.

Any ideas?

Hi Shane,

Do you have white space in the folder name on your work computer by any chance? That might be the reason.

There are no spaces in the path to the data or to the UserObjects folder. It is able to create the files but the files are 0kb. It also creates a gendaymtx.exe file with is only 1kb. I'm wondering if that exe file is functioning properly.

Aaaaactually, I just tried running that exe file on its own and got the following error. Could that be part of the issue?

I see. gendaymtx is not downloaded on your system correctly. It should be 19 Kb. Download it from this link manually https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16228160/GenCumulativeSky/genda..., copy it to the working directory and then try again. It should solve the problem.
