Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Mostapha,

After working on a natural ventilation study using honeybee, I realized that variation in internal loads (specifically lighting and equipment power density) weren't producing any appreciable difference in zone comfort conditions. Looking into the IDF file in more detail I saw that the "Fraction Radiant " and "Fraction Visible" fields are set to 0 by default. What is the best way to customize these IDF fields through grasshopper? I would like to avoid editing and re-running the IDF file many times over for parametric studies.

I am not aware of any answers to this question on the forum, but there was this previous discussion:

Thanks in advance.

Mike,

This forum has been retired.  Please post all questions to the new forum:

We haven't exposed a direct input that allows to change the default radiant fractions but we can discuss the best ways to change this on the new forum (notably, with OpenStudio measures).
