algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Everyone,
First of all, thankyou Mostapha Sadeghipour Roudsari for the outstanding add-on.
The thing is that I've been having some problems to run the DayLight Factor Simulation in HoneyBee.
When I run the simulation, it appears at the end a message that says "cannot find the results of the study"
I've checked the forum and I think I have everything properly installed on my computer (DAYSIM 4.0, Radiance, etc...) as it is explained in the instructions.
I attach the gh file and the image with what's installed in my c:
Thanks very much in advance!

Pablo,
I'm looking at your file. You defined the working directory as D:\essai, and the radFileName as Essai_glz_04_verreLV_04.
You should look there for the results. I'm assuming that all definitions are OK (didn't check).
Are they there?
-A.
Hi Abraham,
thank you for the response ,
That's right, and it's there where I'm looking for the files, but the thing is the component doesn't seem to locate it...
What am I doing wrong??
I upload the Gh definition again
Hi Pable,Yesterday's image was from directory C. That's why i was wondering.
now i run your file as is. Just disconnected the workingDirectory. It works fine without any change. It makes me thing that you are missing some of the required software, even you think you have the most updated versions.
There are some threads in the forum addressing issues like yours. I'm lazy to search, but as i remember Mostapha's answer was related, in effect, to non updated software versions.
Can you run the Essai_glz_04_verreLV_04_RADInit.bat file and see what the CMD window says? Looks suspicious to me that you don't have the octree file (oct).
Attached the results directory i'm getting, so you can compare and check.

Hi Abraham,
Yeah, you're right, thanks, there are some missing files
I'll check it out about the versions and reinstall the components
thank you very much
Hi Pablo,
The file works fine on my system. I just changed C to D. The snapshot of your folder shows that the analysis is not ran. When you execute the analysis do you see the cmd window? Everything looks fine inside the file.
My other suggestion is to update the components. It's now much easier to get the results out of the component.
Mostapha
