algorithmic modeling for Rhino
What do you mean 'it showed something wrong always'
Sure you can build up a model in karamba, the interpretation is something different then...
Best,
Robert
Analyze component error:
"1. Singular Stiffness-matrix: Can not solve static system.
Make sure that boundary conditions are set so that the structure can not move in rigid body modes.
When you analyze a flat shell structure lock the rotation perpendicular to the plate in at least one node.
Use the 'Eigen Modes'-component and activate the display of local coordinate axes: The first eigenmode will be the rigid body motion."
Dear Qiushi,
your model is not properly connected: It consists of 1200 disconnected parts. You can test that with the 'Connected Parts'-component.
In order to model the connections between the elements you could use the 'Element Felting'-component and specify a hinge on the connecting beams that get generated.
Generally it is a good idea to reduce the complexity and size of a model for debugging and testing.
Best,
Clemens
Thanks! Clemens!
What do you mean by reducing the complexity and size of a model, by reducing the size I guess you mean to scale it to a smaller one?
Reduce the number of elements to the minimum number capable of representing a certain aspect you want to look at..! So yes, scaling in terms of complexity, not spatial.
