algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I am making an envelope for a didactic model. As seen in the picture has a Voronoi geometry, the problem is not how to enter it to the envelope collaborate with beams and columns.

Hi Llordella,

As I understand your problem, you need to have common nodes defining your slabs, your columns and your voronoi facade.

Hi, yes, I'm working on it. Which is not the way to do it, I think there are two alternatives:
1- Build the building and then apply the Voronoi (the problem is not how to choose the points of the segments of the beams to create the Voronoi these points)

2- Building the Voronoi and build those points beams and columns (the problem is as simple select a Voronoi edges)

I hope you understand my question.

Thank you

Sorry I'm afraid I do not understand.

I believe the way to do it is to define the whole geometry and then :

-Divide the columns at each intersection point with the Voronoi.

-Create a mesh for your shells with points that are common with the Voronoi.

Hi, I´m working together with Llordella. Our matter is how to extract the edge points of the Voronoi surface.

We need help.

Thanks in advance.

Patricia

extract the edges of your innitial srf4pt. do so by wireframe brep. intersect the resulting curves with each one of your vornoi branches.

I don't know if that helps but you have components in kangaroo, like naked vertices that will help you select the boundary points of a mesh, if that's what you're trying to do.

Thanks Yousef, I worked it out!

Thanks Ramon, I worked it out!
