algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

after applying safety factors to the Load cases shouldnt i get different displacement results OR am I doing something wrong?

Hi jm,

the load-factors supplied at the ModelView-component apply only to the display of results. The load-cases in the model are not affected.

The best option for handling safety factors is currently (with Karamba 1.1.0) to superimpose the different loads per load-case so that each load-case contains all loads of one ultimate limit state (ULS) or serviceability limit state (SLS). On the OptiCroSec-component you need to set MaxUtil to 1.0 when working on ULS-level or to 1/1.4 when using SLS-loads.
