Conversion from principal stress/force to global coordinates

Hi all,

I am trying to get the stresses of a shell in the global directions (e.g. X and Z) instead of the principal stresses. Is there a way to get that with Karamba? I've noticed a "Principal States Transformations" component but I do not know how it works. Moreover, it only acts on vectors, and I would like to get the sign of the stress/force, similarly to the "Shell Forces" component.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Simon,

in version 1.2.2. it is not possible to adjust the coordinate system of shells and thus the direction in which the shell cross section forces are output. This will be a feature of Karamba 1.3.0.

Best,

Clemens

Hi Clemens,

Alright! Thank you very much for the support ;-)

Looking forward for the next builds!

Best,

Simon
