Additional Supports / Loads

Hi All,

Is there a way to add additional supports or additional point loads to a deflecting beam? I have tried dividing the beam length and plugging that in as multiple supports but it always errors.

And then is there a way to move those supports and loads freely in order to see the different reactions on the beams.

Hi Cassie,

for the placement of supports and point-loads one needs to supply the coordinates or indexes of nodes in the model. Making them freely movable is then rather a matter of setting up a corresponding Grasshopper parametrization.
