Hello Henning,

you can use Karamba3D to analyze active bending structures.

Prestress can be introduced via the 'InitialStrain'-option of the 'Load'-component.

Please find attached Karamba3D 1.3.2 examples for beams and shells.

is it possible to have a screenshot of your definition? I have an older version of Karamba so I can't see all the components.
