Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I am a student completing a research assignment into ideal stiffness allocation between the exoskeleton and the core. I thought grasshopper and karamba would be a good way to do this. I am having some problems I am hoping someone can assist me with. When I shatter the members so as they intersect with horizontals only the external columns come through into the structural analysis, not the internals as well, even though i can see from the shattered output that they have been shattered correctly. The way the parametric sliders are set up currently there should be 2 internal columns, but none are appearing in the analysis just the external ones. Anyone have any idea why?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks, Felicity.

the irony in the fact that immediately after I posted this I realised my mistake - I also needed to shatter the horizontals as well in a separate action and hey presto its working.
