Honestly, I liked studying. Way more than school because it felt like I wasn’t just given more freedom, but I also had a better understanding of why I was studying in the first place. But essays… Ugh, I absolutely couldn’t stand them. I just couldn’t write decent ones, and every single time it was a huge struggle just to scrape by with the minimum grade.

  • No way! Essays are just your thoughts written out in a structured way. If you don’t stress too much about making it super academic, you can basically follow the same formula, use different clichés, and you’re good to go. For me, writing a decent essay took, like, an hour tops, and it was always the easiest way to get marks.

I’m pretty neutral about essays and honestly wouldn’t say any one assignment was especially hard or annoying. By the way, have you thought about improving your essay-writing skills? It’s like training your brain, and you can get better at it with practice. You know, you could start by reading essays from different authors. Here’s https://www.customwritings.com/blog/essaysinhistory.html a list of top-notch essays—great for self-improvement and polishing your writing skills.
