algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
Im trying to figure out how to use kangaroo to simulate inflated balloons. I'm fairly new to kangaroo, so a lot of the pressure physics posts are over my head, but what Im interested in are spheres which rather than inflating, respond to forces of other objects on them... primarily balloons touching each other, and springs constraining the balloon's shape.
Ive read the posts on the inflating pillows, but either I don't understand Kangaroo well enough yet, or they're not quite what I'm trying to do.
I don't know if its possible, but if so, any feedback would be helpful (other threads, tutorials, or examples).
Thanks.

Hey there-
Not to resurrect an old thread, but I'm looking into balloon simulation as well. I'm curious specifically what the input of the PressureLevel refers to- would a value of "2" be twice the pressure of the external / ambient pressure?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex,
Not a problem to revive an old thread, in fact it is quite timely, as I've just been revisiting the Pressure force recently.
The PressureLevel setting is the pressure difference between the 2 sides of the mesh, measured in Pascals.
Note that if you inflate a balloon, this pressure level does not currently decrease as the volume of the balloon increases. This is what I'm working on now - a properly volume dependent pressure force.
